About
Hi, I’m Adwoa.
a food researcher, photographer, and writer. My work focuses on African foodways and culinary traditions, African food systems, and agriculture. In particular, I am interested in the intersection of food, culture, and identity. I have over eight years of experience within the agricultural ecosystem documenting indigenous recipes and techniques, collaborating with smallholder farmers while spearheading conversations about the representation of African alimentation in the global media. I also love white wine and brownies, like a lot. Most of my wanderlust centres around food, women, wine and photography. You’ll find some of my writing in my blog section and on my twitter feed too.
Feel free to leave a comment or follow me on social media!
